Jason is an Operational Excellence and Enterprise Transformation leader with more than 20 years of experience helping organizations unlock breakthrough performance. He has led Lean transformations across industrial manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, and utilities—partnering closely with senior executives to build high-performing cultures and deliver sustainable results.
A hands-on strategist and coach, Jason blends rigorous Operational Excellence principles with practical, real-world execution. He is known for developing leaders at every level and enabling organizations to accelerate safety, quality, delivery, and customer value through behavior-based leadership, Daily Management, and strategy deployment.
Before co-founding OPEX Coaching, Jason held senior operations and Lean leadership roles with Fortune 100 and global industrial companies, guiding multi-site improvement initiatives across the U.S. and Mexico.
Matt Reid
Vice President and Co-Founder
Matt is a proven Lean and operations leader with 28 years of experience driving high-impact improvements across automotive, transportation, aerospace, and energy. With a hands-on operations background, he excels at aligning teams, solving complex problems, and connecting daily actions to strategic objectives to deliver measurable results.
He has led Operational Excellence initiatives across the fast-moving automotive sector—spanning part fabrication, vehicle manufacturing, distribution, and new plant construction—enabling significant safety, quality, delivery, and cost improvements. He also brings extensive transportation and logistics experience, generating major cost reductions and performance improvements across North America.
Before co-founding OPEX Coaching, Matt held global leadership roles in the aerospace industry, supporting defense and commercial aircraft manufacturing. Most recently, he led large-scale cost-reduction initiatives in the U.S. energy sector. A dynamic and energetic leader, he is known for bringing the right people together, strengthening processes end-to-end, and driving transformative results.
